The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is the national tourism agency and a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), and trades under the name of VisitBritain/VisitEngland (VB/VE). VisitBritain mission is to build the value of tourism throughout the nations and regions of Britain by increasing the volume, spend, and regional /seasonal spread of tourism in Britain.rnAs B2B Manager Spain some of my roles are:rnrn• Strategic deep understanding and profiling of the intermediaries in the Spanish market. Working on B2B activities with Spanish Travel Trade and UK-based Tourism industry, and supporting wider destination marketing activities. B2B communications engaging regularly with the broader market trade (travel agents, tour operators, carriers) through a programme of newsletters, web content, product updates.rn• Leading bespoke key account management and analysis of the key online and offline product distribution intermediaries in Spain, tailoring programmes accordingly to ensure Britain product is being sold to the customer. This involves maintaining our B2B platforms and our CRM tool up-to-date.rn• Lead and coordinate strategic interventions with Spanish travel trade and intermediaries through an education programme via training webinars, sales missions, attendance to workshops. Workshops and Events: co-ordinate Spanish trade participation in UK-held events such as the annual Explore GB workshop, and UK industry participation in Spanish-based sales missions, workshops, seminars etc.
